How far is the home from the nearest airport?

Accepted Answer

There are two possible airports, first Southwest Regional Airport (RSW)  and Punta Gorda (PGD).

Southwest Regional Airport from the car rental center is 42 miles approximately a 1 hour drive, Punta Gorda airport is 35 miles and approximately 50 minute drive.

Gaining Access to the Home

Accepted Answer

The day before your arrival you will be sent the code to gain access to the home.  Touch the screen and four numbers will appear, push each one (no particular order) the second screen will have all the numbers, enter the code given to you and the door will open.

Question 3

Can we use the kayak lift?

Accepted Answer

If you would like to use the kayaks from the canal at the home, let us know the night before and we will help you launch from the kayak lift.  For your safety, we should be present when launching from the property.

How far to the nearest Marina?

Accepted Answer

Monroe Marina is only approximately 4 blocks from the house; here is a link to their website
